The thing that pisses me off the most about this is how they say it's a "Direct blow to the President of the United States" or the Democrats. I'm sorry, but who the fuck cares how Universal Healthcare would affect them? This is supposed to be for the people! Either if it succeeds and we can have a fiscally responsible good quality universal healthcare, or if it fails and we all go bankrupt, I doubt the average citizen will be thinking "What a wonderful thing this is for the politicians".

I agree with you 100 percent, not too many points that you can make that Obama Care is a bad idea, most states in the US make us get car insurance don't they?..so why get mad because they want you to protect your body which is waaay more important than the life of a car! If people really think about this..they will laugh later...you pay insurance on everything else that you own..even for pets now..and folks get mad over it just like they did when they mandated car insurance...so why cry now?

Can you back your claims up with facts? What proof do you have for your claims? What about Canada, England and Australia's healthcare models. You are the one that's brainwashed. Don't you know, as it stands right now with our form of healthcare, that it is being used to violate all 51 of the constitutions we have in this country. In order for it to be unpopular the majority of people would have to not like it. All polls show that the majority of people like the ACA except the part about being fined/taxed (as do I) for not getting insurance. I personally think that insurance companies are the biggest rackets going in this country and ironically one of the reasons (malpractice) why the cost of healthcare has gone up making it one of the biggest debts middle class americans have today and reason for the need of an ACA.
