Back in 97/98, the place where I got most of my d&b gems from was called 1st Base, upstairs in a shop on Oldham Street, Manchester, run by Mark Mac (Mark XTC). Regularly spent all my rent money in that place… I was in the shop when the first delivery into Manchester of Scorpio's "Trouble" arrived. Mark ran down to the vinyl guy on the street, brought back up about half a dozen copies, slapped one on the deck, and everyone in the shop had claimed a copy before the drop…
