  • I get the desire to want Mother to sing this straight to Father's face (believe me I'd love to see it too!). But honestly, think of what just happened in the moment before...he says "I love you" and she tells him "Be safe"...she doesn't want him there. This song is that "arguing with the other person even though they are gone" moment...and really sets up Mother's independence...it only makes sense for it to be a solitary moment on stage.

  • freakin awesome! her mix is incredibly blended and it sounds effortless and powerful when she belts:)

  • @brozzerb I've Alwasy thought that to, Just have mother stop father and have her belt out the entire number then have father leave, it would make it SO much better to show just how oblivious and how much of a jerk he is if he just walks out after that and it would make the whole number SO much more heartfelt

  • This song would be so much more powerful if it was staged with Mother singing it directly to Father. But this is an incredible performance... bravo!

  • Brilliant Performance and voice!

  • speechless.... this production leaves me utterly speechless...

  • Wow... amazingly done... Love her voice.

  • Outstanding. I hope she's still performing or will be soon; her voice is a treat. I'd certainly buy a ticket.

And I hope that one person who hit thumbs down gets checked out soon for that tinnitus or whatever it is that kept them from hearing what the rest of us heard.

  • beautiful voice!

  • OMG Kara! How ironic I would stumble on you here! I want to play this role so bad. You really performed it beautifully! Your voice is so pure.
