Diving Haulover Bay - St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands

Haulover Bay (which got its name from the fact that in early days boaters would "haulover" their boats from one side of the low land mass to the other) is an excellent place to dive. There is a large amount of coral in many varieties accompanied by many different marine life forms including Hawksbill Turtles and Nassau Groupers. Haulover is located on St. John's East end about 3 miles east of Coral Bay.Cool Pics and awesome video. All underwater sequences filmed while freediving. I visited St. John back in the 1980s and stayed at Cruz Bay. I took a tour of the island and fell in love with Coral Bay. Would love to retire there. Is there much property for sale? I would make a very tiny footprint on that place, I promise.
