Alright everyone, here it is. The next race we'll be able to play is the Pandaren. They are one of the natives of Pandaria and will be joining up with Alliance and Horde alike.

Pandaren Racials are pretty cool as well with Epicurean increasing the stat benefits of food by 100%. Gourmand gives an increased Cooking skill of 15%. Inner Peace gives the player twice as long for the rested experience bonus. Bouncy makes it so you take 50% less falling damage. And finally, Quaking Palm that uses an enemy's pressure point to put it to sleep for 3 seconds.

Pandaren can be hunters, mages priests, rogues, shamans, warriors, and the new class, monk.

The Monk is an awesome fighter that is a master of bare-handed combat who only chooses to draw their weapon for devastating finishing moves. Players who choose to play a monk will be able to easily play every role; dps, tank, and even of course, healing.

Monks can use Cloth and Leather armor, Fist Weapons, One-Handed Axes, One-Handed Maces, One-Handed Swords, Polearms, and Staves.

Some sample abilities are "Spinning Crane Kick" that deals physical damage every second all enemies within 8 yards as well as reduce their movement speed by 30% for 6 seconds. "Roll" which acts similar to charge. "Statue of the Jade Serpent" that heals nearby friendly players within 20 yards when you do damage. You can have up to 3 Jade Dragon Statues active at a time. Which actually looks like a typo that say serpent.

The Monk Brewmaster is like a drunken tank who can absorb incredible amounts of punishment or a drunk at a bar who you can beat the hell out of and they keep coming back for more.

The Monk Mistweaver is like a disc priest with better damage.

Finally, the Monk Windwalker which is a melee DPS that has some pretty awesome martial arts moves that look sick in a rotation on a mob.

All races besides Worgen and Goblins can play a monk.

Kinda like druids, monks will benefit from leather armor with agility or intellect, depending on their build, and will depend on Chi which is like energy for moves such as Jab and Roll. Jab will generate either Light or Dark Force, which can be expended to perform other moves.

It all sounds very nice but things can change a lot before the release of Mists of Pandaria. Let me know what you think in the comments.

i love how everyones gonna complain about the new xpac but honestly everyone knows there gonna get it its gonna be sweet as hell u can be a monk dosent matter if theres pandas that dosent affect you at all. besides the pandas dont look like kung fu panda at all they have beards

@AlannLovesWow well lets see they ruined wrath when Cata came out just hopeing they will fix pvp and not ruin any customizations to my stat tree and reason we complain is because some of us liked the game in vinilla

People are so FFUUUUUUCCCKING DUMB! they're all like "Oh this is such a fucking remake of Kung Fu Panda" ohh QQ more u dumb shits if you look back in Warcraft lore you would find out that Pandaren were in Warcraft WAY b4 Kung Fu Panda was even thought of. Making all who say "KUNG FU PANDA REMAKE OH QQ" look like fucking idiots.

@damidget56 yeah, the hunters don't have melee weapons but they're also taking out the minimum distance so even if they're right at you you can still shoot them.
