  • it's amazing to me the place where she chooses to write her songs from. she starts in a place where most people would skip over and disregard as insignificant. it's hard to explain. she writes like a visual artist, like she knows you have to have all the light and shadows right or it throws everything off, since they are all equally important you can start from anywhere so she does

  • lovely comment

    perfectly captures Lucinda

it's that ability to see the inner light shining through the everyday feelings

    you said it better

when just waking up and starting a new day is important

I just saw her in Toronto

and wished I'd brought my daughter

    (14 years old)

just so she could see one helluva grown woman

see all

  • I love her.

  • @ancorasenza sounds to me like she writes from raw, exposed nerves.

  • dude swear she looks crosseyed

  • she is an amazing artist. she interprets her feelings like a brush on a canvas. she captures and draws her life through lyrics and music. when most see shadows, she sees and feels the details.

  • @Souplesse000 there is a slight resemblance, if your interested in that kind of thing, but in terms of talent, he doesnt even belong in the same contest!!

  • The power of suggestion is strong for Lucinda as she follows Gurf's lead in taking of the well deserved refreshment...lol!

  • OH MY GOD. I'VE LISTENED TO THIS CRAZY MANIAC FRENTIC SONG ALMOST 300 TIMES IN 3 DAYS. I CAN'T STOP, I NEED TREATMENT. (a version from a show in minneapolis (oct. 23, 2008) makes it the most glorious/enchanting love song i've ever listened to.) come to south america, LW!

  • This is from the first of two Live From Austin Texas DVD's in 1989. She said it was the first time they'd played to such a big audience, and they'd never experienced such a loud applause. Didn't distract from the performance though. I wonder if Gurf still has that jacket.

  • YES. YES. YES. oh, those ACL shows...

  • Yes. Thank You Lucinda. LivefAustinTexas, you too.
