I need help starting, if you could get in touch with me, to help me dread them that would be great! I could pay you, I live in LA so its not to far right? I bought a dread maintence kit off amazon already to prepare. :) pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease­please! >.< i have alot of hair and its thick, its going to be hard on my own, plus being a rookie.

@TheWonderball I would love to help you, but I live in England, so... LA is actually pretty far. I'll be in LA either this summer or next if you want to hang on, but really it's not that hard to do by yourself. Check out my first video, that has a lot about starting the process. Good luck! X

did you ever crochet your roots in the first couple of monyhs or did you leave them be???

@hippigirlful A lot of crocheting happened between month 1 and month 4, but I wouldn't recommend it- only do a little where it's needed, too much and it will weaken the dreads! I leave them be, now.
