COLOUR Light Gold.
BODY Light/Medium.
NOSE Peaty, with a touch of seaweed and geranium.
PALATE Dry - smokey: hints of TCP and seaweed, with a lemonade sweetness in the finish.
FINISH Light and fresh, with a soft warmth. Like a day in late May on Islay. Try with lots of ice - it's very refreshing.

  • Just love this whiskey. And the designers of the bottle and packaging deserve an award. The best in the industry in my humble opinion.

  • @wtgeek01 HELL YEAH. The Island of Islay... wow... oh how I want to visit. Ride the smoke!

  • "Aroma: Peat, brine, iodine and a little smoke."

** For the one who wonders if to buy it: it is totally different from Glenfiddich, Glenlivet.

  • if the seas could burn, this is what it would taste like. Distinctive salty Islay taste with a nice smoky, peaty nose and body. It will smell like you had the fireplace lit in the room hours after drinking a glass.

  • hey is it just me or does this reek of iodine and salt? ive only tried glenlivet 12 and glenfiddich 12, but i have never even suspected a whisky can have so much of whatever is in this bottle(i think its iodine and salt)!!

only had one glass so far and dooooon't really like the sensation i got from it...

  • Peaty and smoky and beautiful. Further proof God loves us.

  • It's peaty then?
