http://www.croixblanchelakes.com:- A carp fishing session in France filmed back in 2006. It features top carp anglers Shaun Harrison & Ron Woodward who are part of a group of four anglers travelling over to France to fish for carp. Loads of tips and information on what to expect when tackling a foreign trip.

Note: I have already posted this as a five part series, but I've received several request to post the entire film in one long clip. So here it is.

  • Where abouts is this at mate? Not Croix Blanche right?

  • @ChannerUK No mate not Croix, was shot at the Etang de Rémy... if you watch the film its made clear where we were going. Not sure if it still exits as a fishery.

  • i fish in florida and there a cannal fill whit what i think is a common carp or grass crap i baught 2 new rod and reels to try to cath them and thr biggest 0ne i have seen was the size om my 11 year old brother and i was woundering what bait i should use in florida.

Hi Stevo, I'd suggest maize. Just soak it over night and cook for about 45 mins until its soft. Grass carp and regular carp love maize. You can add tins of sweet corn and its juice to your feed. You can put 3 or 4 pounds of free offerings into the water and fish with 3 or 4 graines on a hair rig over your baited zone. You might want to try feeding the area for two or three days before you go fishing to attract the fish to feed in that area.

    tight lines
