Sadly, this is yet another movie Hollywood has decided to remake for a 2010 release. They have officially run out of ideas.

This is one of my all-time favorite overlooked movies. It was a great drama with 3 of my favorite actors (Michael J. Fox, Kiefer Sutherland, and Phoebe Cates). Too bad it didn't really do well in the box-office.

I saw this as a kid(ish), then later i got in a kinda similar state of mind j Fox is in in this movie, i vaguely remembered the movie and of course rented it, Still remember the look on the guys face at the counter, like he could tell somehow, but may be i was just paranoid (which was one of the dozen symptoms i was having back then but is gone now forever fingers crossed). There, nice little sap story for ya.

My parents recognize and idolize him in 80s. I hope he can be cured from his disease and get back acting again.

Whit Stilman should've directed this and the film should've been done as an independent. As much as I love Michael J. Fox and Kiefer Sutherland, this movie was just too "Hollywood" and not as edgy as the book. Jamie Conway should've been played by Chris Eigeman. Tad Allagash should've been played by Will Kempe . . .
