Hello

If its a soft head Chatty softening the neck area with heat from a hair dryer or steamer will work.

Yes you will find size does matter with doll needles. You will need a long needle to make the process faster and easier and the eye hole cant be too big as that could damage the head.

Depends on what hair you choose. I've bought synthetic hair at Sally's beauty supply for as little as .99 and as much as 15.00 depending of what hair best matches the doll I'm working on.

Most of the time I'm paying between 2.00 and 6.00 though
