If you just get a slip on no, but if you get the whole kit yes you will have to re jet......

i'm getting a Penland series for my prairie , should i need to re-jet it ? my friend told me i didn't need to re-jet if she's running good with out the jets.

@05recon250 probably cuz you didnt rejet it which means you were running it lean, which causes higher combustion temperatures. i haven't heard of anyone else having engine problems caused by an exhaust.

yes u can mes up the motor if u put a hmf slip on my fourwheeler is in the shop cuz of that i blew my piston ring and all my cylinders

Have you had any engine trouble since putting on the slip on without rejetting the carbs? Im thinking about putting on a HMF utility series but I heard you need to rejet or you can mess up the motor.

just 25's, go any bigger than that then you just have to worry about breaking belts, but yeah for $250 for all four you cant beat em!
