In this second video release from the engineering team we get to show 3 of the core development vehicles in city driving. Each of these vehicles has a slightly different appearance, because each of them is intended to test a different subsystem of the production vehicle. By creating system-focused test mules, the engineering team can parallel path their development activities allowing them to progress their learning without the burden of wrestling over vehicle schedules.

In this video the team is doing basic city driving maneuvers on public roads. If you look closely you will see pp-vehicles representing electrical and electronics development, power train prototyping, chassis, and a marketing vehicle thrown in for good measure. The next step is to bring all of the systems from these vehicles together into our first design intent vehicle.
