@ladev1988 Erm, no. What you are talking about with the linux is Expressgate.
Fancystart lets you change the boot picture from the default ASUS logo

Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) it starts the operating system :) and the fancy start is based on linux so if you need to quickly just startup skype or browse something you can do that in 8 seconds and not start the whole operating system... and it saves power ;)
