Birmingham Police violently arrest members of ANONYMOUS UK for no reason on 20th Aug 2011.MOV

This occurred when the ANONYMOUS gathering/sharing of free-hugs/sweets and information was completely OVER. We were having a drink in a pub, getting ready to go home, when Police arrived and flushed us out of the pub onto the streets, then 3 wagon-loads of Constables arrived and, as you can see, picked people at random for arrest. All together, 6 ANONYMOUS were arrested that day (4 in this incident), 3 were later released without charge! SHAME ON BIRMINGHAM POLICE FORCE FOR PROTECTING THE CORPORATIONS AND NOT THE PEOPLE!!!

@ianmcferran so why did you make a nuisance of yourself in a public shopping centre on private land which resulted in you being restrained by REASONABLE force no assault and thrown off site?You came onto private land blasting music out with masks on and a megaphone screaming facist state comments and as I stated before knowing you would get thrown off site and create a commotion and get the attention you was looking for.Police were monitoring you so this situation all of a sudden suprises you?

We weren't making a nuisance of ourselves, if we had been, we'd have been arrested when the police turned up moments later. However, they did nothing as no crime had been committed, as established when the police spoke with the head of security at the time (as clearly seen in the other footage). Please note, I have nothing against different opinions but this is the last time I'll be responding to your "assumptions". As the saying goes, "You really should have been there".

@KnowingDasEin I could go on about Politics and whats wrong with the country all day and we can agree or disagree and have a constructive discussion but in order to change a corrupt system as I stated before you must gather funds and the knowledge to go into the political realm.What your doing right now is heard but not acted upon and going onto private land then screaming about the law of the land while breaking a simple trespass law is not the way.Knowledge is real power if you want change.

What you don't see on this clip is what lead up to it. We didn't scream about anything. We weren't protesting either. We were going from A to B, via the shopping Centre, out intention being to go home - much like many other people in there that day. But with us and without warning, out jumped the guards who physically assaulted us.

Well this one piece of filming of police treating people like this means I wont be sending them a X mas card.. I was in Oxford earlier this year and saw banners placards and vocal views by muslim rally walker saying KILL all non believers kill those murderers appertaining to our soldiers and they walked by happily . These people arrested . I think double standards are in force from the top.
