Freakin' awesome.
Just this one song qualifies them as the best ever, never mind the 32 other hits and over 300 wonderful songs. 50 years old now and have been a Slade fan for 39 of them (since Look Wot U Dun).
Long live The Mighty, Mighty Slade!!

Класс...мы эту вещь подбирали и играли в 1976 году- и вдруг я нашел её в Ю-Тюбе--и сразу воспоминания... Спасибо- Ю-Тюб-за возвращение в 1976 год...

@missmarypickford That's right, Mary. With hindsight, I believe that Slade stayed too long in America, and I think the same could be said of The Bay City Rollers. Both groups were talented, and deserved to remain at the top for considerably longer than they actually did. The kind of success that Slade achieved in the UK - between November '71 and December '73 - is difficult to sustain in the ever-changing world of pop music and image (as The Rollers discovered, just a few years later).

they went to america & came back evreything had changed-glam was over.
