  • Whilst Tokyo is such a unique, neon-soaked place I think it's also the Asian capital that reminds you the most of London. There's a feeling of age, power, and solidity, and by comparison with the Hong Kong skyline it's quite low-rise. The area around the Imperial Gardens and the PM's office really reminded me of Buckingham and st James park. (Perhaps only a Brit who's lived in a poorer Asian country for 8 months could say this...)
