i tried it and it worked for me, i mixed it with rogaine for women. i lost my edges due to perms and braids, and now i have locs and my edges WERE a mess, i noticed that my edges are filling in and getting longer and soon ill be able to incorporate my edges with my locs , thanks for posting the vid, this is the best one i'veseen about mn. thanks

@elizalibby1 yes i still use it but i dont apply it to my whole head anymore, just to the areas where i feel my hair is thinner. i started out with it on my whole head cause after my my big chop my hair was boy short and i couldnt wait to get some length to work with. now that i have some good length i only use it in those areas where i feel my hair is thin like on my edges and i have a spot in the middle to keep promoting hair growth.

@elizalibby1 For me i've got very good growth from it. thanksgiving made my 1yr since my big chop and i have a head full of hair. i cant belive my hair grew this much in only a years time.

Hey! I used the "equate" brand from Walmart for the first time last night. I DID NOT mix it and I applied it directly to my scalp as if I were greasing it. LOL Old school! Remember when we used to get out scalp greased? Thank GOD I did not have a headache this morning. I did get a bigger tube than the one you used. I wash my hair about 2 to 3 times a week. Should I put it on after each shampoo and do I dry my hair first or put it on wet?

@sboonefelton oh yea, forgot to say you can get the mn in 2% and 4%. when i first tried it the tube i got was 4%, since the first tube i've been gettin the 2%. that could also be a factor in my headaches, the 4% could have been a little to strong for me. but from then on i've have no issues using the 2%, but i still mix it.

i apply it as if i'm greasing my scalp as well. some people get the headaches some dont. i've seen vids where people apply it right from the tube and dont get them i think thats good if you can do that but for me i have to mix it cause i did get one. i've also seen people apply it to both wet and dry hair. i dont think it really matters as long as you get it onto your scalp, then i massage it in really good. i do dry my hair first but thats just how i choose to do it.
