Season 3 Episode 8 Part 1

Hosted by Leonard Nimoy and broadcast weekly from 1976 to 1982, In Search Of... is the greatest mystery documentary show ever. I grew up watching this show, enjoying the spine-tingling presentation of quasi-fact and dramatic synthesizer-heavy music of Rinder and Lewis.

I am not selling this material, neither am I interested in buying bootlegs. It is currently commercially unavailable, so I am joining with others to make evaluation of this excellent series possible.

I'm posting these videos to fill some gaps left by recently suspended users (from whom I downloaded these). Check my subscriptions to find users with more episodes, and drop me a note if you have posted any "new" ones. Thanks for watching!

  • Well that description of the Edmund Fitzgerald's sinking blew all the credibility of this show.

  • They don't make em like they used to!

  • the narrator has the voice of the twilight zone!

  • @crazedADDICTION as do I

  • i live down the road from lake ontario. lol

  • I live 5 minutes from Lake Huron..I know all to well the wicked witch of November..I recall the day the "Big Fitz" sank on Lake Superior I was 7

  • the description of the Edmund Fitzgerald is deceptive: it wasn't a mild storm but rather a violent November storm, one of the worst some sailing the Lakes had ever seen. The Fitz wasn't 8 miles away from the Anderson but 15. Guess it doesn't matter much, she still sank and those 29 men are still gone. :(

  • Wow...I had no idea of a triangle at the Great Lakes. Fascinating!
