@AshfordsFavorites When they refer to the jokes... they're talking about the video itself being a practical joke on themselves. They thought they were going to see the restored version of Lawrence of Arabia but instead they get Rick Roll'D.
I can't think of that many jokes in the music video, but I agree with Siskel about the ethnic stereotyping of making a black man a servant, or in this case, a bartender.
