@ElegantePlayer & @KC9SYJ I found my Elegante last june for $150 in Akron in mint working/looking condition. It's the leg model, of which I've never complained because first of all for $150 who would, but also because it matches my other favorite organ- the Wurlitzer 4500. I have a Leslie 705 and two 540's that is also a good choice for a Hammond, but I'll make a high rotor soon enough.
As far as thinking an older organ is a compromise, nope- a new organ little to no tonal character.

i have a question for you, this keyboard has like an ensemble sound like piano and organ @ the same time? like the technics sx-c600 or the hammond b200? the sounds i hear on this video sound beautiful, i like the organ sound very warmth and roomy that you are getting out of this keyboard and the leslie speed gives that lovely enchantment,is that you playing?,sounds great, very nice...enrique

Hey Bob! I am gonna say it for the second time, i love this video. i think i've watched it over 40 times right now:D
Do you have the chords somewhere or is it just in your mind, because i would love to have them. Please make more video's! I have already subscribed:) Greets Niels

@nielsvogel Niels, Thank you for your comments. All of the cords and arrangements are done right at the time I play them. I call it "instant arrangement". Sorry, but I won't be able to supply the chord combinations I use. I do try to go for some unusual cord combinations. Right hand cords are usually 4 or 5 note melody cords. I have in mind what I want to hear, and go about creating those cord sounds. I do plan on uploading more. I'm working on videos uploads now. Bob

Would love to find an organ like yours,...other than ebay, where's a good place to start looking?
I can't afford a brand new organ at this time as much as I'd love to have one. Can you tell me exactly what model number yours is? Is it possible to find one in good shape still with all features working?

@KC9SYJ Hello to a fellow Ham. In answer to your question - the Elegante is from the 1980's. It's one of the last ones made in Chicago before the Hammond Organ Company went under, and was bought out. Th model number is 340200, with the matching 4 channel Leslie (model 740). Neither of these are made any longer - there are some out there on the used market at various price ranges. The organ sounds lousy without the Leslie !! Hope you can find one. 73, Bob

@nielsvogel Glad you like my arrangement. If you load the software "RealPlayer" , you can download and save both the video and audio to your hard drive. If that doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll send it to you in MP3 format to your email. I'm using FireFox browser, and it works for me. Bob (I'm working on new uploads - hope to have them soon)
