Actually, I belive you can jump through the legs as well.

Around 8 minutes you said "What can we do?" The rope on the top of the screen can be grabbed, and you can stand on it. The only way is wall jump though. You could also wall jump over the entire robot (or through it, for damage).

I think it's hilarious how cynical and critical you two were in episode one. "uh...this story makes no sense...I can't tell what's going on", but by the end of episode two you're all like "that is some cool fucking shit!".
