People don't confuse sexuality (Homo, Bi, Hetero) to that of sexual deviances like Pedophilia, Zoophilia, and Necropilia. If you examine it closely, Pedophilia is deviant because kids aren't old enough to make decision to consent, Zoophilia is deviant because animals can't talk to consent, and Necrophilia is deviant because dead corpses can't talk to consent. Now with all that said, two consenting adults, whether Gay or Straight, is okay. So I ask you all, can animals to talk to consent?

@spoilermdc I'm advocating acceptance of love, not NAMBLA. I just told you nobody in their right mind sees child rape as fair or just. There's a difference between consenting adults and taking advantage of the innocent. Sex isn't love, but tell that to promiscuous young adults, gay or straight. They'll do it regardless. At least if knowledge about safety is spread in oppose to prejudice it makes the world better and diminishes negativity.

@spoilermdc When are going to stop equating crimes like child rape and animal rape to pure love? No one in their right mind is begging for acceptance of those. And when will you stop assuming there are no females who do it? And why do you care so much about people's sex lives anyway? How does that make them any less human, or define what good they can do? How do you know all even do it? Homosexuality is a characteristic, not a crime. As long as you discriminate it makes you a bigot. Case closed.

These two are unique individuals, and at least one of them can be motherly by instinct. What about parents not being so ignorant, immoral and uneducated themselves so that they teach their own kids not to be prejudiced and hateful like you? Both of them make better parents than you. I'd worry about your kids being taught by you to hate everything that wasn't like you.

@Sirafrican sometimes in history the nation needs to move forward without regard to populist opinion: ie the war for independance, slavery, Japanese intourment, all of which were popular- but as a nation our leadership decided that the populist was wrong, and that a higher moral issue was at hand.

@Sirafrican these are the results of the April Rasmussen poll. I do not argue that the majority of Americans appose Gay marriage. The problem is there is nothing you can do about it. The MCC, Dignity, Universalist churches have all been conducting Gay marriages for more than years. The "only" question is whether or not these married Gay persons should receive the same rights as their straight counterparts. Myself and my husband have been married for 7 years.
