This is a nice version of Halleljah, but as soon as I heard the nylon-string guitar I longed for Jeff Buckley's crisp, Telecaster sound. Kathryn Williams' voice is alright, but she sort of wails out-of-tune around 4:45, and her voice fails in comparison to the voices of Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright (or even John Cale). In my opinion, this version is a little slow and seems to drag-on a bit, also I think the instrument pairing is a little too predictable! Still a beautiful tune however!

I searched for two years to find who sang this version. Someone gave it to me on a cd and it's amazing. BUT, it's not the most powerful version I've ever heard. Anyone who's ever heard Damien Rice sing this knows what I mean. This version is so beautiful and sweet, and makes me want to slow dance with the woman I love. Damien makes me want to sit in the corner of a shady bar and drink a bottle of wine and cry.
The very best version of this song ever. What a wonderful talent
