this is a little video of the ''Great Australian Bight'' i took while traveling across australia. its on the nullarbor plain stretching from western australia to south australia. the edges of these cliffs are very brittle and crumbley. this combines with the strong winds makes it a very dangerous and scarey place to be when standing anywhere near the edge.

  • I simultaneously felt the joy of this beauty ... and danger. Colors are wonderful ... wonderful! Especially sea foam and wet stones ... I wish you the inspiration to create a beautiful landscape on canvas. Thank you very much for this trip!

  • Hi!

I don't know that I'd stand as close as you seemed to be. Those cliffs are awsome. Do you know what type of rock it is by chance? A good deal of it, looks like salt.

Love the rock formations. The one you closed in on, looked like it had spikes.

    Nice video! Welcome back!

  • @2darbit

    thanx u my friend.

i think most of it is limestone.

yes its very scarey standing there, as it feels like it could break away at any time.

ill send u video of other cliffs from on ''the great ocean road'' in victoria when i get time to upload them. x

  • The music really highlight the feeling these cliffs is dangerous if getting close to the edge. What a beautiful clear blue water!

  • @YOZcreative

    hey thanks 4 stopping by.

yeah i thought the music was cool too so i chose it from ''audio swap''.

i agree about the colour and the water was so inviting as the day was very hot...but even if you could get down to swim (without killing yourself 1st) there is no way of getting up....plus the ''gt aust bight'' is famous for great white sharks. (as well as whales, dingoes, snakes, wombats, camels and kangaroos).

    its an awesome place!
