@Acig1981 The scoring system has taken any creativity and has thrown it out the window. All the routines look the same now more than ever. Russia is the only country now days setting themselves apart form the rest. They will be back. Romania is struggling they will be back too someday. Fact is that these Sydney olympics should be omitted so many mistakes even before the womens all around and even last month when china had to give back their bronze metal. Look at their current work.

Here are the facts...Russia great routines but they fell 4 times. Romania consistent wins thats how the scoring system works. I agree that when Russia did hit they were underscored. really Produnova with those tumbles pulled a 9.750 thats terrible judging. When push comes to shove Romania were the cleanest. If Russian didn't have some many falls they would have won. They knew this thats why they took off the medals when they got the silver. They made up for it in the Event Finals.

ok, how is it romania would dominate EF if not for raducan scandal?? no romanians made it to UB finals, and the 2 romanians on beam finals just did not have what it takes to win a medal. on the vault, zamo was clearly better on that day (she was the worldchamp the year b4), so ur saying romania would have dominated EF is a JOKE!

it wasn't really that romania was overscored but that russia kept messing up when they needed most, u said so urself. No use blaming overscoring for russias mistakes.

It's amazing how many people are jealous of the Romanians. Instead of praising them for a superb training program and an undisputable history, all they can say is they are overscored. Romania DOMINATED Sydney because they were the best. And they would have done MUCH better in the EF if it wasn't for the shock they were all under as a TEAM. They are a TEAM, unlike the girls from my home country, unfortunately.
