  • I started trapping squirrels yesterday and I got 5 victims already. My question is what do you do with the little beasts when you trap them. I've tried relocating them but I've watched where they go and it seems like they' re going back to my house.

  • Many states do not allow you to release trapped animals. That means, once you've trapped an animal you must euthanize it. Call your state's Department of Natural Resources and they will tell you if you can release the animals or not.

  • i have tryed alot of that stuff and no luck??? they even stell my poison and alot of it and thay dont die why??? what do thay do with it???

  • It takes a lot of bait to kill a tree squirrel. Plus, squirrels hoard food and are most

likely taking the bait, but are not eating immediately. This is especially true when you are baiting with meal or bait block formulations.

  • A .22 works well for squirrels.

  • in the past 2 weeks, i've traped 14 squirrels in my back yard. They keep eating the seed out of my bird feeder, so thats what i use in the trap. Now i have to work on traping a cat that keeps craping in my garden.

  • Superjg4567 thats all I catch my squirrels on its a reely good trap and just the rite size for them.

  • POS squirrels dug under the trap to my nuts

  • Could you use 110 conibears on squirrels?

  • unshelled peanuts are excellent bait also. They are easily spotted by squirrels. place loose at front and back of trap.

  • or you could use a grenade

  • @wholegrain11ful Sunflower seeds would work well. Probably, pecans would, too.

  • @johnycage180

Take the cage with the squirrels in it to a place with water deeper than the cage (pond, river, old tub, plastic container big enough) and simply lower the cage into the water to above the top of the cage, leave it like that for 5 minutes then take it back out and throw the squirrels in sealed plastic bags and into the trash.
