Clip from the Zeola Gaye stageplay "My Brother Marvin" featuring Tony Grant as Marvin Gaye.
In this scene, Marvin has been writing songs for his politically inclined, musically controversial, but legendary album, "What's Going On."
Marvin passionately discusses the project with Motown music mogul Berry Gordy and expresses deep sadness for the state of the nation at the time and insists the label release "What's Going On" before he records any more love songs.
This scene drew rave reviews due to the prophetic parallels of Marvin's frustation at the time of the recording, with current events in 2007, i.e., the war (Iraq), lynchings (Jena Six), and political unrest in America.
Is the one in the black and white suppose to be Marvin? Marvin had a soft voice.

I think John Canada is so sexxxy. I met him when I saw this play last year in Philly. He is so handsome and nice, down to earth too which adds on to the sexxxiness.
