I first Billy for the first (and last) time in Perth Western Australia back in about 1983/84. He was busking in the Hay St Mall.
I was so impressed I bought a copy of the tape he had on sale, and played it to death for ages until I lost it. Great to see he's still keepin it real.
BTW, that same weekend I stumbled across Billy, was also the same weekend I saw Stevie Ray Vaughan at the Perth Concert Hall.
I bought a guitar the very next day.
