old group B cars had about 150BHP more than todays WRC cars. They were also a bit heavier, but the 205 would be faster outright. I believe, however, that in the technical sections the 206 would close the gap.

obviously not, the 205 would mop the floor with the 206.
current WRC cars are no match to former Group.B on asphalt, especially a track.
