I kinda feel sorry for her... sounds like she's holding her voice the whole song. She can do A LOT better if they put her to sing a harder song. Yea, the part of Mimi doesn't fit her, but it's because that girl can do A LOT better.

Her voice is quite distinguishable that is why maybe Jonathan Larson choose her to play Mimi. She might not have the best vocals as Mimi (that goes to Tamyra Gray) but her voice, dancing, acting and her look IS Mimi... Mimi isn't supposed to sound like a broadway star, she has to be a little bit rough on the edges right? That is why Daphne Rubin-Vega for me is in general the best Mimi I've ever seen so far. Plus she's the only one who can walk on the railings w/o hands while doing Out Tonight!
