AvA tho, there so much more mature, they sing about war, love, and peace. world peace. That`s because Tom lied. He said he wanted to be more with his family but what did he do? He was just as busy with his ego project AvA as with blink so he spent just as little time with his family with AvA as with blink. Angels and Airwaves was the DeLonge ego project and he ditched his band mates to create it. AvA was planned by Tom BEFORE he left blink.

I hate all these people that come on here & be like 'oh he wanted to see his family so why start another band'. The point is he's a musician, it's his career, you can't just quite your job... The point is he needed to be in a band that was more laid back so he could see his family as & when he needed to rather than in blink where he was made to feel like he couldn't. He needed to be in something that he had control of so when he did need to be home he had the choice without anyone giving himshit
