John A. Rowland High School presents Grease: The Musical. March 16, 2007 Performance.
Act 2 Scene 1
Musical number of "It's Raining on Prom Night" performed by our very diverse and talented cast.
Sandy - Samantha Yount
Cha-Cha - Jennifer Arcos
Director: Patricia De Lion
In the version that I'm in, I'm Cha Cha, and sing this off stage while Sandy sings onstage in her bed. I think that's the best way to stage it, or it get's too confusing.

yeah but thats is only for this verison, the radio voice is way to strong, and she should have been told that! its not her fault at all you can't hear how loud you are when your singing the other people should have toold her.

haha in the script, the line that says "Dear God, let him feel the same way I do right now. Make him want to see me again!".....our drama teacher wrote on the scripts that she "abhors this line!!!" as does our Sandy and the rest of our cast xD

our school just had sandy singing the song in her bedroom -- otherwise it seems a bit jumpy

it would probably be nice like that, but it's written for both of them. cha cha shouldn't be onstage tho. im doing this show now, and im the radio voice, and they cast a different girl as cha cha so theres no problem.

I agree ActForLife14. It's better only to have Sandy singing it. I think the song is a bit messy. It should only be Sandy. It sounds like it's the radio-girl's solo
