Not exactly... Ancient kalender, yet like astrological, started new year at marts 21st. celebrating spring. After 12 days, symbolized for 12 months, they celebrated the 13 day with food and drinks out in nature. The 13. days called fools day or laugh day, so it would bring luck and happiness to the rest of the year.

Wait what? Islands of "San Serriffe" are totally real. We used to go there every summer when I was a kid. I remember used to fly in to Antiqua from Fraktur, before boarding a ferry in Didone to take us to islands. Sometimes, we'd take my uncle's boat, the "Helvetica," and spend a few nights in Perpetua before checking in at the hotel's rotunda.

Ah, those were the Times...New Roman.
