Do you even know American history? The party platforms changed in the mid-20th century. President Kennedy and President Johnson were both democrats and liberals? Johnson signed the Civil Rights act of 1964.

This guy wants christianity to be free from criticism. Atheist have been verbally attacked by believers for thousands of years. As an atheist I've been told by christians that I should kill myself because I have nothing to live for. I've never said such a horrible thing to christians.
Another insult from christians was 'if everyone were atheist we'd all be killing one another'. Thats BS, because nations with a large atheist population are statistically the safest.

@dudev To blame all wars and persecutions on Christianity is false. Communists have killed millions, and Communist leaders have done their best to suppress any religion, not just Christianity. Native Americans have been treated very poorly by people who professed Christianity, but Natives have warred with each other long before Columbus came, and also without the interference of Christians post-Columbus.

@dudev I wasn't persecuted when I became a Christian. I became one because my life was falling apart. Anyone that I ever heard of becoming a Chrisitan (in my lifetime) never came by persecution. What people have done in... such as the inquisitions (again let me refer to Matthew 25.....the sheep verses the goats), they will be held accountable for whether they are procaliming their Christianity or not.
