Die Sprachensituation in Luxemburg ist vielschichtig.[15] Die Muttersprache der Luxemburger ist Luxemburgisch („Lëtzebuergesch“), eine moselfränkische hochdeutsche Mundart[16] mit einem etwas höheren Anteil französischer Lehnwörter als das Standarddeutsche. Sie wurde allerdings erst mit dem Sprachengesetz von 1984 zur Nationalsprache und mündlichen Amtssprache des Landes erhoben und wird laut Umfrage der Europäischen Union von etwa 70 Prozent der Bevölkerung als Muttersprache angegeben.

@TR3791 I am sorry I offended you. It was not my intent, but we are arguing across purposes. I am not saying the language doesn't exist, I am talking about what its called in English which is Luxembourgish not "Luxemourgerese".
