Skoll World Forum Update

Advancements in Social Innovation: Ontario and Beyond was presented on May 16th at the MaRS Discovery District.

Attendees heard from hosts, Social Innovation Generation (SiG@MaRS) and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). SiG@MaRS Director, Allyson Hewitt spoke about the pre-eminent event on social entrepreneurship, the Skoll World Forum, which was held from March 30th to April 1st, 2011 at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford (http://www.skollworldforum.org). BCG followed the Skoll presentation by speaking to current research on the social impact sector in Ontario.
