James Horner just Jazzed up Prokofievs music,ive noticed he uses alot of Prokofiev music in his filmmusic.....another example is Land before Time ...rich in Prokofiev music.

Guys is this song the USSR anthum? Like was this song made for the USSR or was this around before them and then they adopted it?

The quote is from the "Cantata to the October Revolution" by Prokofiev (II. The Philosophers). And he didn't have the integrity to name the quote in the end titles either, or on the album.
So iut's not actually a quote, it's theft.

@DJReBorn1980 Thank you, first time I watched this movie was when it was in Russia, I was a little boy back then. I loved the soundtrack but never could read so I never figured out what it was called.

This was composed by Sergei Prokofiev.
