Chaos before Afghan elections?

The United States is stepping up its military offensives in Afghanistan; however, a recent attack on a Taliban-held town in Southern Afghanistan was met with fierce resistance, signifying that the Taliban probably knew about the American attack beforehand. This may not come as a surprise, considering top US commanders say that the Taliban is gaining momentum in the region. So is the Taliban winning the war now, and if so, how will the US change its strategy in Afghanistan? RT's Dina Gusovsky speaks to Jeff Dressler from the Institute for the Study of War.

USA will fail the same way Soviets failed there. But the differrence there was Soviets failed because of increasing heat on domestic political scene. USA will fail because of killing innocent civilians. This fact turns many of ordinary afghanistan people into Taliban followers joining their ranks and it looks like the only way to win the war for USA is to bury the whole afghanistan population and even then pakistani "friends" will come to help....
