It was such a nice day that I headed up to Snoqualmie Falls to shoot this video. This was shot inside the Snoqualmie Falls Park area around 2:00 in the afternoon December 31st 2007 using my HDV Canon HV20 Camera. You can see just a little bit of the Salish Lodge where you can stay and hear the sweet 270 foot waterfall sound all night long. There was not a lot of water falling over the falls today as the weather has been very cold and snowing so not a lot of water flowing like earlier in the month when there was heavy rain fall. This is located a few miles outside of North Bend, Washington. Well hope you enjoy and get outside and personally enjoy nature. Thank You dwpetersen.com aka MOTEEV

  • yeas hi Mr. Moteev sir..it's approaching 2009 at the time of this writing..can you please tell me the type of video camera you use to make your videos..I may be interested in purchasing one in the new year sir..

  • In this video I used a Canon HV20 which they have since updated to the HV30. Just about a month ago I switched to the Panasonic HDC-SD9 as my main camera.

The Panasonic is a lot different and does not use Mini DV Tapes like the Canon HV30 it uses SD media and takes more power on computer to edit. Hopefully by fall 2009 I can get the RED SCARLET camera but that would be one of the ultimate cameras for me or the new Panasonic AG-HMC150 AVCHD. I also like the Canon HF11 AVCHD too. hope that helps.

  • did you film this using cine-mode?

  • Yes I did. Can you tell? I was having some strange light effects with a diamond pattern since it was so bright out and I think this was from Cine-Mode usage. In first part of video I also had a filter on that gave it a blueish tint. I was not sure if importing it to Imovie would do anything with Cine-Mode. Thanks for the interest, dwpetersen

  • Twin Peaks yes! I used to fly over the falls out of Renton for their beauty. Awesome country, tks.

  • Twin Peaks rocks¨!

  • no i couldn't :) i thought there was a definite tint to it though. It 's just that i've seen osme footage of the canon hv20 in cinemode on youtube and the quality has been better than this.
