This documentary is the product of a trip to Palestine in september/october 2005 undertaken by a group of students from the Free University of Brussels. It documents the continued Israeli oppression, occupation, war crimes and apartheid towards the Palestinian people anno 2005.
The movie includes an interview with Professor Dr. Ilan Pape (Haifa University, president of the Emil Touma institute), who traces back the origins of the conflict to the expulsion and ethnic cleansing of more than 800.000 Palestinians in 1948 and the destruction of more than 400 of villages.

habibi partition plans happen between individuals of the same who have lived and originated on the same land for decades due to different relegions or races...Like India and pakestan BUT not between some europian refugees to a land and the individuals is the hand of their origin..I repeat again REFUGEES.habibi.The empire has can conquer but does not have the right to give what it does not own to whom they do not deserve...

I have read Ilan Pappe's "The History of Modern Palestine" and I think it's brilliant! But it did not change my opinion that the real Nakba, the catastrophe of the Palestinians, is their denial of the two partition plans, the first one by the Peel Commission in 1936 and the second by the UN in 1947.

I mean, snipers would shoot kids in Sarajevo. I've seen death squads kill families in Algeria or El Salvador. But I'd never seen soldiers bait or taunt kids like this and then shoot them for sport. It was--I just--even now, I find it almost inconceivable. And I went back every day, and every day it was the same."
