@hounslowfinest Not really. The Boomtown Rats' early records where superb, even if they never reached the heights that Oasis did on Definitely Maybe. But that was never the issue. I was arguing that Liam Gallagher is a musical non-talent who rode Noel's coattails and did nothing creatively notable in his career. Bob Geldof actually wrote a handful of tracks that became enduring radio hits, placing him above Liam Gallagher in musical talent.

@andross63 liam is one of the best frontmean ever, geldof is just a fucking total has-been and was never all that anyway. oasis were fucking amazing, the boomtown rats were fucking dreadful. That christmas song is the most hateful peice of music i have ever heard. Makes me cringe. Also getting people to send money over to africa when there is so much poverty here is a disgrace he should fuck off and live there if he thinks so much of the place
