  • Hello, Stephanie.

I'm doing a story about a girl who has been blind for four years due to a car accident. She can get her vision back with a cornea transplant, but I had some questions about how a typical day in school would be? I've tried learning about tools the blind use for learning, like a Braillenote or a Braille Lite, but honestly, they're confusing! Can you maybe break them down for me? If you would, email me at automatisch483@aol.com

If it's too much trouble, you can reply here. Thanks

  • I misspelled it. sorry. Thanks for correcting me.

  • Stephanie, it's astigmatism, not a stigmatism. That's where things both in the distance and up close appear distorted. Nystagmus is an eye condition in which your eyes constantly move around. I'm assuming that's what you have.

  • As of right now, no. Future, maybe. Doctors are still working on it.

  • thanks.

    its your blindless curable.?

  • Thank you, very much. Glad I was able to help in some way or another. If you have any more questions for me feel free to ask.

  • just your prescence in the world helps.

    thanks

    G.

  • I can see bright colors but not dark ones. I'll have a video coming up soon where I explain what I can and can't see. Thanks for the question, hope my answer helps

  • one question... you dont know how is blue, yellow, red etc?

  • I have a stigmatism which means that my eyes constantly move. One eye is bigger than the other. Yes I use a cane. Yes I can see bright colors all though some times I get them comfused like some shades of both pink and red. Any more questions? feel free to ask.
