Are you unaware that every vessel employee has to undergo BST and STCW at the cost of the ferries? (Points deducted if you have to look up those programs!)

The ferries should be privatized.
At LEAST, the prohibition against setting up private, competing ferry service should be repealed.
Monopoly is supposed to be a bad thing, right? Even the liberals agree with that...
...except when it is a government monopoly, that is.
