Congratulations, the video for refilling is very clear. But you do not explain how to clean thes sponge and head cartridge.I use for clean the old ink with distilled water with a circular small pump for water fountains and a small plastic pipe of 5mm(color) and 9mm(pigment black). Then dry the cartridge with a fish tank aerator pump.To unclog the nozzles of the head, use head cleaner fluid, using the same plastic pipes and a single rubber syringe. Then injected air with the same syringe.

everybody should stop buying original cartridges. So these fucking companies feel the pain of losing money. I bought myself a laserjet one. More durable, it wont dry the heads, and print with a finer quality. The problem is that i dont print color. But anyway, the last time I need color i was 8th grade. Nowadays I prefer to pay few bucks for a color print if i need.
One tip: If you want to save ink, never shut down your printer. It always throw some away when you turn them on.

You can get the chip resetter on Amazon too.

best how to I have come across. Love the syringe plunger tip idea.

Thanks a lot :-)

the ink has to go from the reservoir into the sponge at the front, its not a simple refill as shown. the canon plug is a hard ball of plastic, difficult to remove. Once the sponge is refilled and the reservoir is filled, then you can cap the fill spout! the resetter usually has a light that blink when resetting the chip. As usual the video was good, but left out details.

I'm refilling my cartridges with this method since one year.
I think they can be refilled over one hundred times.
It is very important to have a perfect air sealing.
