Cracking up so hard at them launching themselves at the tank's glass walls. I so want a few of my own, and a california king snake (obviously kept separately, I'm not a monster :P).

@TheDoomCompany That clip was taken when the tank had just been set up, the plants have spread now and now cover the entire tank.

You should get more plants in there mate =) they are too busy trying to escape in stead of feeling secure, you can keep em like this, they will eventually get used to it, but they'll never breed =( so i would overload it with plants if I were you =) Nice frogs btw =P

@TheSauropsidian Thanks for the tips, the tank is quite a lot different now than when the video was taken. That creeper plant has spread to cover the floor and sides of the tank and is quite dense. As a result the frogs are noticeably more confident as you predicted.

i just got 3 panama auratus, and 2 leuc today at an expo. the 2 species are split up into 2 tanks but i was wondering how to tell if there a male or female? they are all pretty small still. i may be making a video of them tomorrow if i can get a good shot of them or not. but dont your 2 males fight?

@12TRuss21 Females are larger and more plump, the males have larger toe pads although the differences are small and may not be apparent until near adulthood.
With most dart frogs it is the females which are more territorial and aggressive and so any group should have more males than females. So far I haven't seen any aggression from any of my dart frogs.
