@ZachMcKay Elvis wrote three songs that are known! 9 more were co-witten or co-composed by Elvis in the beginning. cc rider was one of them where Elvis rearranged the song to best suit his style.

Although he didn't write any of his own songs other than this one (as far as I know), Elvis did work to make the songs his own. I have a lot of respect for him, and love the music he created. Wherever he may be, he will always remain the King of Rock 'n' Roll

I never knew Elvis ever did this. I reckon our skiffle group did it better in our local english pub back in the fifties but my judgement may have been a little impaired at the time.
