Does anyone else realize Kanye is just rhyming about himself? He coulda killed this song, but most of his songs are just him rapping about himself hella off topic

Just like the majority of his songs. Awesome producer, subpar rapper.

LoL Kanye's lyrics have nothing to do with the violence and struggle of the Africans for blood diamonds. Get real and stop trying to translate a shitty artists lyrics to something they're not.

cause they bought up conflict diamonds in the 90s from Angola, but that was technically before they were dubbed "conflict diamonds" so they can claim they never bought "blood diamonds".

So should we blame the diamond dealer for profiting from it? Should we chastise him for his indifference. After all he's just profiting from African killing each other. In the end it's the African who'll kill, not the diamond dealer. Even if the killer didn't have the weapon, he'd pick up a rock.

Fool. This is the same argument as people saying that it's Africans who enslaved Africans - should we have blamed the slave merchant for profiting from it? High time to take responsibilities for our actions.
The song is pretty shit though.

i think that opening statement is salesmenship for the song cause there has been a movement for awhile now at this point to end the illegal trade even though the sanctions put down do little to stop it and sierra leone isnt the only part of africa in which they come out of
