Spent a little over a hour detecting a field in back of a school. Best finds of the day were, 1820 large cent, 1934 wheat penny and some clad change.

  • Nice cent. Is that your oldest coin find?

  • Thanks, my oldest coin find is a 1795 large cent and a few tokens from the late 1700's. HH

  • Cool hunt! Congrats on the Large Cent. The size of that coin demonstrates the value of a penny way back then when it actually bought something. Awesome find!

  • Thanks Dan, i hear you. Best of luck on your next hunt!
