yea i though chavez was gonna launch home runs this season till i heard he got injured i got mad but next season coming up i hope they get a few old players from back in the days

Those were the Oakland Athletics when they were GOOD...just like the A's of the 1970s and 1989 were. Now they have new guys that don't quite compare!

Yeah its true.
But how were they supposed to know? At the time it looked like Chavez would turn out better. And he would have if he hadn't had so many injuries. :P

Ill miss Danny.....but at least we still have Mark Ellis and Chavez + we got the big hurt back!
